Nothing says spring more beautifully than pink and white dogwood blossoms against a clear blue sky! And since 1964, Paducah, Kentucky has been home to the "Dogwood Trail", a twelve mile driving tour showcasing the area's flowering dogwood trees. Paducah is also the home to the National Quilt Museum, and Moda Fabrics decided to create this lovely collection to honor this beloved institution. They are donating proceeds of this collection to help the museum continue to celebrate the art, history, and heritage of quiltmaking.
Whether or not you are lucky enough to see the Dogwood Trail in person, you can certainly share the beauty of the season with this delightful group of dogwood fabrics and charming coordinates. They're designed by Sentimental Studios.
This collection will be arriving in July 2011, but we will be taking pre-orders. We're quite sure that Dogwood Trail will be very popular. Did we mention that the dogwood fabric comes in five colorways: porcelain, blossom (pale pink), petal (deeper pink), sky blue, and leaf green?
